Randy Miller has been at the helm of Inspiration Mining for over 15 years. Over the years, the mining sector has seen wild fluctuations. From the 1990s to the current day, mining companies serve as a bell weather for other leading economic indicators. As of this writing, shares for most mining companies are trading at all time lows. Several factors are contributing to the depressed market, from precious metal and gold prices to an economy recovering from a recession.
In these pages, Randy Miller will explore several mining topics, leading with the investment view. At current prices and inflationary pressures looming over the economy, investing in mining companies that are currently under valued may be a very smart and profitable strategy.
A little background about Randy Miller and Inspiration Mining. Randy comes from a finance background, having started his career at Yorkton Securities in Toronto, Canada. Randy quickly established himself as an authority on the mining sector, where he then took a position at CanAccord Securities. After several years, Mr. Miller went on to start his own firm, at Adrea Capital so he could focus his efforts on the mining industry for his growing list of private and institutional clients.
In 2004, Randy Miller realized his dream when he was asked to lead Inspiration Mining.
